We stayed for the week of Christmas this year (2012) and found it the perfect location and property. Very close and convenient to everything: shopping, Denver museums, downtown, etc. Great neighborhood. The owner provides just about everything you can think of to make your stay enjoyable. Wish it could have been in spring or summer to enjoy the lovely garden and sun porch. We had a memorable family holiday thanks in large part to our stay here! Hope to return as often as we are able to be in Denver to visit our daughter.
We booked the guest house as a base to celebrate a college graduation - I worked out perfectly - we had enough space for all travelers and with the backyard we were able to host a small cookout gathering for family and friends. The house is as advertised and the neighborhood is very welcoming - we will recommend it to family and friends
We had a wonderful family stay in this house. Our family was in Denver for a wedding and came from around the world. The house provided us with a great space to meet, have fun, enjoy good food and wine. I found Linda to be very helpful before we arrived quickly answering my emails and questions.
My family had a very good time at this house.
The house was the right size for 5 adults.
The owner treated you like family.
The location was very good for either walking, driving or else taking public transportation.
Will definitely consider staying there when we return to Denver.
The house is small and was cozy for our family of ten, but the sun porch in back and front porch provided lots of great space for spreading out and conversation. Linda is a gracious hostess, was readily accessible for questions, and provided excellent customer service. The house was clean and as described in the listing. The neighborhood is friendly and it was fun to sit on the porch and watch the goings-on. Several good restaurants in walking distance just a couple of blocks away. Easy driving to all sorts of Denver attractions - downtown, Cherry Creek, the mountains. I would recommend it to friends, but would suggest that a smaller group than ours would be more comfortable.
This was our first time using VRBO. We were in Denver to visit our adult children and have a reunion with our grandchildren who flew in from another state. We all enjoyed the house. It had a foosball table in the three season proch which kept the grandkids busy while we prepared meals. The elementary school a block away was great for playtime in the evening and weekends with two play grounds & a basketball court. We even had our Easter egg hunt there on Easter. With an ice cream shop, garden gift store, coffee/bakery shop and a great hamburger/bar within 2 blocks, we always had a place to grab a quick bite. Plus it is only 6 blocks to the Nature Science Museum and IMAX and the huge City Park. We spent two weeks and the owner was terrific.
The home has all of the amenities you could desire! It was clean and well taken care of. You are not far from excellent dinning and events but still in a nice well maintained neighborhood. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again!
This house is in a beautiful neighborhood (virtually all are brick homes with patios). We were very impressed with the house (everything was clean and in good working order). Linda, the owner, was very kind to us and she even stopped by one day for a couple minutes to make sure everything was perfect, to see what we've seen/done so far, and to offer advise on other places we may want to check out. All eight of us in the group would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
This charming bungalow served our family of seven well. Plenty of space, great location, everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the screened in patio every day. The owner, Linda, was very responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay again!!
Our family loved the location and the fun times we spent playing games and the piano! Super convenient to groceries and great walk to Botanical Gardens.
